@ afridi101 - 31.08.23 - 11:30am The Heat-Wave thing there is Just a JOKE 40+ C is what u call a Heat-wave Not 30-32 C!! I think you're misunderstanding what a heatwave actually is, they're not just about how hot it is, it's whereabouts it is, when, how hot it would normally be and so on. This vid explains it |

It varies slightly in different countries but in the UK the official definition of a heatwave is when the temperature is 5'C hotter than the average at that time of year for 5 consecutive days. So, if it was over 12-13'C in the UK for 5 straight days in December, that would also be a heatwave.

Also, most homes in the UK are well insulated and/or designed to trap heat inside to keep us all cozy warm during the cold winter months, as opposed to homes in very warm climates, that are usually well ventilated and designed to keep you cool in the heat. Unfortunately this means it can become uncomfortably warm inside when the weather gets hot here and I would imagine it's the reverse in warmer climates when it gets cold, the homes are more difficult to heat and keep warm.

Get an air conditioning unit. They are the best things you can buy for your house other than the Japanese toilet seat. fu*king game changer those things.
