Just saw on the news. Never knew it was that bad. Now SA-owned businesses have been hit in retaliation in other African countries. |

But what do you know we have so many illegal immigrants so that's what's fueling this madness. But legal migrants/immigrants must not suffer because of these people. |

@ cerberus611 - 4.09.19 - 05:26pm For real?! Not in any significant way. I also don't buy that the attacks are all xenophobic. There's definitely an element of it, especially in the beginning as a catalyst to get things started but I also get the impression of a more coordinated approach with these attacks that wasn't there in 2008. |

@ cerberus611 - 4.09.19 - 05:43pm Something to do with many truck companies hiring non-SA'ns over local people. Yes even smaller haulage companies tend to hire legal Zimbabweans and Malawians in the main. And it isn't because they can pay them less, that's a common misconception. |

Zimbabweans can easily pass off as Zulu as Ndebele (Northern) is so much like Zulu. Heard a crapload of Zulu words spoken on the Zimbabwean side of Vic Falls. The western portion of Zim is predominantly Ndebele populated with Bulawayo as their capital. Harare (in the East) is the Shona capital. My workmate, Muzi, is Ndebele and is somewhat a Zulu now lol. |

Same applies to Lesothans (is that even a word?), Botswanans, Shangaans and Swatis. There is a contiguous relationship overlapping with those in RSA. |

This popped up in my inbox (from My Broadband Daily): South Africa has been conducting mass surveillance on its citizens Also saw on my Yahoo notifications feed the other day about a growing number of companies and businesses are surveiling their employees and in the States Walmart, Target etc are surveiling customers and e-mailing, as well as other forms of communication, product offers similar to their shopping habits . |

That South African choir on Americas got talent are sensational. I like their motto, just because you come from poverty doesn't mean you have to live in poverty
