@ dan27notts - 16.02.20 - 03:49pm My mates ex gf gave him a black eye one night so he threw a plant pot across the room and smashed it, she called the police. Even though he cleary had a black eye and she was fine, he spent the night at the police station and she spent the night in his house. Domestic abuse works both ways. Caroline has definitely hit him, the CPS dont take cases to court unless they have enough evidence. Its sad whats happened to her and the trial by media has been unfair but it doesnt mean you can get away with assaulting someone. He will also have that on his record |

@ kimjongl - 16.02.20 - 03:55pm We do have a very low tolerance of crime here, I have zero problem with most people who commit violent crime being put to death. You have very little problem with a person who shoplifts a coat being shot dead. |

@ bozzalad - 16.02.20 - 03:55pm those listening to the emergency calls would have more than an inkling police used to get so much stick for asking the victims if they wanted the abusers charged instead of just acting on the evidence Listen and believe This is the way. |

This whole thing is so sad.i wish she'd have lived to get over her issues.i think that about male abusers, too.we dont often hear from people who used to be violent but now could tell their story and maybe help others.like, for instance, just stop drinking if you cant control your temper.it's the least you can do

@ prattle - 16.02.20 - 03:08pm Are you thick? Im talking about her purportedly beating the sh*t out of him Nobody else has claimed she was ''purportedly beating the sh*t out of him'' though. Just You, as you try to deviate from her smashing something over his head, cutting a bloody open wound into it, whilst he was asleep. Your tangent about height/power/reach has been completely irrelevant all along. |

@ bozzalad - 16.02.20 - 01:09pm Ms Weiss told the court: In the 999 call the complainant said quite clearly that his girlfriend was beating him up. He asked repeatedly for help. He was almost begging the operator to send help. He said: 'She is going mad, breaking stuff. I've just woken up. She's cracked my head open.' The defendant is calling him an a***hole saying 'It's all your fault, you've ruined my life', calling him an a***hole repeatedly.' He said 'you've cracked my head open'. He told the operator 'she tried to kill me mate'...... that does not sound like someone saying nothing happened Here, he said his gf was beating him up |

It's a tragedy and a waste. The whole thing should be shut down now, her left to rest in peace, her family to grieve. 2 - If good is to come of it, things should be questioned. Domestic violence. Equality. Mental health. Suicide. Maybe it will be easier for people when the dust has settled. |
