@ mok214 - 7.12.19 - 02:43pm Not my thing, being in combat changes your perspective on sports. I done boxing in the army, not by choice but I enjoyed it in the end and won, but I was infantry and u was only a REMF and probably more suited to knitting jumpers and playing chess |

Nothing but a cheese eater brigade. The Olympic athletes were the worst, nothing but prima donnas that cannot keep their butts down when low crawling. |

BTW, Dodgey. I was Combat Support. Generally those guys get put up on the front line in front of the actual infantry. And it happened with your military too because we had a British Ammo Supply Point on our left flank.

The Olympic athletes were the worst, nothing but prima donnas that cannot keep their butts down when low crawling. You have no choice to do it sometimes, they said I was in the company boxing team and that was that, I had to do the training and fight, was very good and I enjoyed it and was only young and it was good for my confidence but yes there was a few grudges held against battalion boxers and army boxers as they never wore uniform and spent most of their time training same as any sport representatives in the forces. |

@ mok214 - 7.12.19 - 02:52pm BTW, Dodgey. I was Combat Support. Generally those guys get put up on the front line in front of the actual infantry. And it happened with your military too because we had a British Ammo Supply Point on our left flank. The role of combat support is to support and supply infantry from chefs to drivers and storemen their whole purpose is to support teeth arms whose job basically is to kill the enemy. Infantry is at the front and the rest is there to enable us to do our job. |
