@ wakeup4 - 13.06.21 - 07:57pm They are all handled front men People ask who do the Republicans put forward for the next election. I say it doesn't matter. They could put Martin Shkreli up for all it matters, republicans will vote for him just as liberals voted for Biden. The president is irrelevant. It does not fkn matter. Biden got more votes than legendary president Ronald Regan. Really?! Well... During a forced postal vote, obviously.. The president is just a face these days, and a personality. Make it look like the people are getting something new. But behind him, all the same shit goes on regardless. And that's what people are voting for. Look at the liberals and their political correctness. Trump disfavours Mexicans and he's racist, Biden's disfavour for the British..? Pah, nothing. Here he comes, the creepy lady-sniffer, and... still, silence. Absolute fkn silence. He's literally what they've hated, and yet not a word against him. |

republicans couldn't put up just anyone and excite their base to turn out. that's why the whole party caved in to trump, someone most of them started out being honest about, calling him unfit and unsuitable. Biden is crap and uninspiring but the democratic establishment rigged certain primaries for him. even then the people who were cheated out of a fair shot still said getting rid of trump is more important. in essence that's the main reason Biden got votes from both democrat and republican voters. trump was the reason for the high turn out too, both ways around. but speaking of Reagan, he is a close second in having members of his team and staff arrested and indicted. the legendary Reagan had his government selling drugs remember in the Iran / Contra affair. the postal vote wasn't forced, it was entirely optional. it is a virtual oligarchy though, that I can agree with. corporations were granted ''human rights'' and allowed to just give money to politicians and contribute to superpacs at much higher levels. it used to go that whoever simply spent the most money on buying TV adverts would win whatever level of election was in question. this made almost all political campaigns desperate to get as much cash as possible and turned politicians into being for sale. just this week there's a leaked recording of a phone call between Joe Manchin and some behind the scenes operatives discussing making offers to republicans to get them to come over to agreeing with a commission into the Jan 6th debacle. a democrat senator is talking with money people about offering cash to republicans for their vote simply so that he can point to the idea that bipartisanship working and therefore keep the filibuster in place which actually helps the republicans at the moment. |
