Inflamed papillae, or taste buds, are small, painful bumps that appear after an injury from a bite or irritation from hot foods. A canker sore is another common cause of pain on or under the tongue. This is a small, white or yellow sore that can occur for no apparent reason.

The only times my tastebuds get sore is when I'm eating lollipops. I'm afraid I'm like a real Kojak and likes my lollipops.

Pain can migrate by the way, especially if you are sensitive, you might ave a burning itchy but the thrush symptoms show up in ya mouth instead. Get ya self to doc's for a check up. They will prescribe something to clear it up. Or tell you to go to a dentist, or refer you to one.

@ doc.four - 26.08.17 - 06:50am You can sometimes cause the papillae to become swollen and sore at the tip of the tongue by using it to check the teeth for food after eating. It's probably herpes though. I get this sometimes. Not herpes. |
