We use these for people with learning disabilities or alzheimers. The trackers can tell if they are walking or in a vehichle. It can alert the call centre if they deviate from their normal route or go outwith their locality.,not all technology is bad

i think it's fair to say, if you use a 'smart'phone then absolutely nothing you do or say on it is private.

The company I work for downloaded a tracking app onto the iPhone 5s we have as company phones, they thought it would be easier than having our vans trackered as we have the phones on our person whilst at work, they've now switched to trackers on the van as the phone app was useless but it's for our own safety as we're lone workers attending alarm activations at all hours during the night/day plus they let them know if we've been speeding and how we drive.
