I must find the topic and bump it When someone eats organic always then he or she can have the occasional McDonalds as it makes no difference, its like a Ferrari that always uses high octane fuel can occasionally have normal fuel and it doesn't affect the engine. |

I used to make roasted jacket potatoes. just a washed, pr*cked decent sized potato wrapped in strong foil with a couple of garlic cloves and sea salt. pour some olive oil all over the potato and close it up and bake for 70 80 ish minutes. exquisite. |

Chef ,that sounds lovely. Microwave is nice and fast, but dont you agree that the oven baked ones, although taking much longer are so much nicer. |

I've never touched a microwaved ''jacket'' potato so I can't really comment on that part. |

The skins don't crisp in the microwave but u can microwave the potato for 10 mins and bake for 30 to 40 mins and they are ok

@ recurve16 - 13.06.19 - 10:15pm They're ok if you're in a hurry, same with scrambled egg. But you can't beat old skool... Awwwweee yes , scrambled eggs in the microwave . Or it's throw the pan away afterwards. |
