Yeah but not because of Brexit. It I literally down to the government not pulling their finger out and doing as they said. As for fisheries, we aren't going to have a competitive fishing industry unless we get those super fishing factory ships that also rip up the seabed and fu*k up everything without any discernment as to what they are doing. I am happy to have small British fleets fishing are territorial waters with managed conservation zones and quotas and paying more for fresh fish.

We sold a lot of our fishing rights under a Tory government.

It's not a trial unless everyone is receiving it.

@ ogdenz - 2.06.23 - 11:18pm Really? Got a link for these thousands of housing estates being built for migrants? Where are they? Next to the 40 new hospitals being built? Almost every major town and city in England has a current expansion project. My town is breaching it's east. south and west boundary as i type, and all surrounding towns are building sites too - try actually going outside... |

@ newt182 - 6.06.23 - 02:10pm Fantastic news! It's about time we implement this Don't get too excited, this isn't an official government trial. It's a small research experiment(with only 30 people taking part as the test subjects being given the cash) which is being conducted by an economic think tank, using money donated by a private charity group. The participants, 15 in London and 15 in Jarrow, will each recieve 1600/month for a year. |
