Well, it's well known that the Murdoch media went all in for Tony Blair and pretty much got him elected. Murdoch himself even boasted that he was able to walk straight into 10 Downing Street and boss the UK prime minister around, telling him what to do and dictating policies too him. Then after the Iraq debacle and still to this day, have thrown their full weight back behind the conservatives again. This is from 1998: http://www.independent.co.uk/voices/profile-rupert-murdoch-blairs-red-top-baron-1144857.html |

Cunts like Murdoch have been manipulating the general public for a lot longer than some people seem to think/believe/admit.

So labour fu*ked up by intervening in a foreign country, causing destruction and single handedly destroying the economy alongside, but now it's surprising that the media outlet has chosen to pick a winning ideology over a defeated one? I don't see the issue. I can't think of a single democratic country where the press and news corporation do not control the actions of politicians.

If so, that tells you all you need to know about Blair |

I don't see the issue. I can't think of a single democratic country where the press and news corporation do not control the actions of politicians. Mr Murdoch is a business partner of non other than Dick Cheney and the Bush family, who all personally stood to profit enormously from the events following that 'intervention' in a foreign country. If you don't see the issue, then you aren't even looking. Not to mention the weird 3 way thing between Rupert, his ex-wife, and her former lover Vladimir Putin. Yes, really. |
