I'm not religious at all but I'm finding that people who call themselves atheists are sometimes as extreme about not believing as those in religious groups, to the point of violence sometimes. Is this really the way forward? Why can't everyone just respect each others beliefs, or lack of them? What's everyone's thoughts on this? |

Personally I consider myself Agnostic as the word itself means I don't know. I'm happy not knowing it lets me think more critically and be open minded :) People have been doing horrible things to each other based on their beliefs for thousands of years it seems so pointless. |

Read Darwins book? Which one? If Darwin had such an effect on Stalin, why was he proponent of Lysenkoism? Do you think a book had more of an effect on Stalin's character than his 6 years at church school, or his 5 years as a seminarian?

Stalin lost his faith when he read the book and took it seriously not like many who still live by the commandments from the bible he actually believed there is no consequence.
