In the name of Allah, the sole Almighty God, the most Beneficent the most Merciful...
If we ask people who has limited knowledge about Islam/Quran: Which is the only chapter in the Quran that was named after a woman? They would mostly predict it could be Prophet's wife (e.g. Khadija or Aisha) or his daughter Fatima. But, surprisingly it is Mary (Maryam in Arabic).
Mary, the mother of Isa (Jesus), holds a singularly exalted place in Islam as the only woman named in the Quran, which refers to her seventy times and explicitly identifies her as the greatest of all women.

In the Quran, her story is related in three Meccan chapters (19, 21, 23) and four Medinan chapters (3, 4, 5, 66), and the nineteenth chapter of the scripture, titled Mary (Surah Maryam), is named after her.
