Religious education shouldn't even be in schools. There's specific schools for that thing. |

It's part of history and learning. Pretty sure you don't have to sit in at religious lessons if you don't want to, these days |

It has been optional for some decades here in finland. Though the default course is christian religion if no alternative choice is made.

Learning about religions is not the same as practicing it. I don't have a problem with my child learning about different religions, but I would have a problem if she was forced to partake in worshipping something she doesn't believe in.

We are here in Indonesia religion is taught since we were young at school . However we are free to choose one religion.
