@ ogdenz - 7.05.16 - 09:12pm If as Buddhism teaches there is no eternal soul or independent self then what reincarnates? The consciousness |
||
@ogdenz | 24 February 18 | |
And what comprises the consciousness?

@ ogdenz - 17.08.16 - 09:08pm There is no ''i'' no independently existing ''i''. Can a house exist without bricks ? Can a car exist without wheels,engine,boot,doors etc? An ''i'' does exist but not an independently existing ''i''. The concept of an ''i exists but it exists only as that..a concept. The house is the '' I'' and the rest are the bricks. But to you're trying too hard to prove that the bricks exist but not the house. But when that's pointed out, your next question is : can the I survive death, is it the soul? I'm telling you the' 'I' 'it's not surviving death, dont worry, then you say, the' 'I' ' doesn't exist. It does exist but not as an immortal reincarnating soul. Then we start the entire debate from 0, lol. The' 'I' ' exists, just not in the shape you're afraid of |

@ ogdenz - 12.05.16 - 10:58am There is no ''i'' that perceives things.No thinker..just the thoughts. No house... Just the bricks? Lol |
||
@ogdenz | 24 February 18 | |
Even the bricks don't exist independently.

@ ogdenz - 24.02.18 - 07:03am And what comprises the consciousness? Bio electrical energy, energy as Einstein suggests never depletes only changes |
