''The Absolute is the concept of an unconditional reality which transcends limited, conditional, everyday existence.'' en.wikipedia.org/.../Absolute_(philosophy) The universe is this absolute- the singularity, the collection of all consciousnesses etc, etc. What happens after we die? Well, what does the Bible say? Is there a Creator? Why are we here if there is no absolute, i.e. perfect, being?? Life is pretty pointless when you deny any god. Death is god of us all. What lies beyond? We shall see. Anyways comrade nice speaking to you.

@ angelsk - 16.06.13 - 02:58pm The world is not a machine, it's a living organism. It's a bio-physical being. Newton saw the world as black and white. Einstein saw it through rose-tinted glasses. The world is not a living organism. It's only geologically alive as explained by the Gaian hypothesis. And a living organism is a machine vested with life. Life means the capability to reproduce, to regenerate, to grow, to live and to die. You can say that a lifeform is independent but not self-sufficient. Newton's viewpoint were physical, Einstein's were philosophical. |

Asking what happens after you die is beyond the definition of life in naturalistic views. ''Well, what does the Bible say? Is there a Creator? Why are we here if there is no absolute, i.e. perfect, being??'' -- Why do you need a perfect being to exist if you did without it? Science sides that we exist by |

.. chance, not by choice. ''Life is pretty pointless when you deny any god.'' -- It's more pointless to insist the existence of an unjustifiable deity. ''Death is god of us all.'' -- Not mine. ''What lies beyond?'' -- Doesn't matter, anyway. If your best bet is a NOBODY KNOWS then why would you pretend knowing just to convince people to follow your faith? I've already encountered these questions being thrown by religious missionaries.

@ angelsk - 16.06.13 - 03:02pm We all perceive the world differently, hence all experience different realities. Time is linear according to our understanding, but deep down it is not. It can bend, etc etc. The universe is absolute, we are not. We are born, we grow, we experience, we die. What happens to our consciousness? It just changes form. Life is not nihilistic. ''Time is linear according to our understanding, but deep down it is not.'' -- I already explained, time is currently understood best as a single directional line, though not necessarily straight. ''It can bend, etc etc.'' -- Time isn't a form of a conscious entity, that asserting something it can do is non-plausible. ''The universe is absolute, we are not. We are born, we grow, we experience, we die.'' -- The universe is absolute but it's parts were relative, but that doesn't su |

Life is not nihilistic.'' -- Consciousness is a progressive collection of memory, cognition, decision and expression. Science explains that consciousness can't exist without a brain, and even justified this by inducing from the facts that physical damages to the brain affects consciousness, sound waves and other physical phenomena affects consciousness, and deat |
