i reistalled a new windows to pc the other day so i ran out of music so i thought i would tranfer music from fone to pc as per usual. i transfered most of files then i checked the music and i realised i didn't transfer anything so i went for a second transfer. nothing unusual yet. but when i wanted to check the memory card data it said 'acces denied' and when i unpluged the data cable it said 'card memory full delete data'. |

But also the songs are cut from the full length to 2 seconds. What do i do? i want to recover my data

you could try a scan and fix on the card but that will probably get rid of all the problem files.

IF Youve been a boob and filled the card way too much you need to try delete some files ,before formatt is your only option

i had the same data everytime i transfered files to pc and vs. is it possible that the pc expanded the data or i had a virus? i accidentaly let the antivirus scan my card when i made the 1st data transfer if it matters. one thing is certain... i can't recover anything right?

probably not, but your should your next move should be mount the card on pc, right click over your memory card, goto properties/scan and fix tick the scan for bad sectors box, and click scan and hope for the best. it might recover your files, it might get rid of bad files, but it will make your memorycard as normal as it can be now. (no errors)

it's either a virus on the PC or a card fault.. if it's the latter, then don't trust that card to work any further.

i'm so disapointed, it was a good card and i'm sure it wasn't full until smthn happened. It was a 4gb card, i had 202 full size songs and abt 200 fotos and it always was blue, only yesterday it pointed out it was full, i'm sure smthn went wrong...
