pedantic much trav? you know aswell as i do that mcgrath's bowling is by far superior than lee or johnson. i sliding scale like mcgrath 90/100 bowling 15/100 batting 50/100 fielding is better than 70/100 30/100 60/100 for lee.

Surely one of the best bowlers today should be considered better than a guy who was a good bowler and could bat a bit. If Lee was bowling gash, would he keep his spot because he could bat a bit?

why are you twisting and turning the debate trav? i have already stated steyn is the best bowler out of the 2. i merely suggested that as to which is the overall better cricketer when their enitre careers are compared imo it is lee. we dont agree which is obvious. cant help it if im right and you are wrong

Steyn is no chris martin with the bat though lets just clear that up he has made numerous valueble 30s and 40s. Bin involved in 100 plus partnerships...

i just struggle to see how a lesser bowler can be considered a better cricketer than another bowler, based on the fact that he can bat a bit

stop being stupid trav, if one guy is 9 out of 10 bowling and 5 out of 10 batting and fielding and another guy is 7 out of 10 bowling yet 6 out of 10 batting and 8 out of 10 fielding it makes him a better cricketer anyone with any sense can see that

Again, McGrath v Johnson. If you were comparing all rounders, fair enough, but you're comparing bowlers
