Paul Murray himself said last year why would anyone want to buy a company that has a potential massive tax liability. Since then even more has come to light and the true debt is probably close to 90 million. He must have changed his tune since then. Administrators have to 'sell' the club. They wouldn't be doing their job if they didn't. Any one with 90 million plus to right off can save Rangers. How many of them are about?

You're totally correct accasbel, but the fact remains Paul Murray now does want to buy Rangers, so you've got to assume something financial at the club has changed we don't know about

the big question you have to ask is, after being part of the rangers board who are seen to have got them in this mess would he be able to pass the sfa owner test

Administrators are planning to seize Craig whyte's shares
|

@jc..ftm | 11 March 12 | |
No doubt Numpty's brother will be invited to the seize

@accasbel | 11 March 12 | |
I doubt the administrators can. He owns the club. Even if they wanted to sell it they couldn't without him agreeing to it

there's an indepth explanation on the mail online site but in short it says that whyte's rangers football club group ltd owes the club money and theres legal mechanism in place that could forcibly take the shares from him, also he didn't carry through the conditions of sale properly when taking over the club.
