This goes for any sport. In your opinion are today's top sportsmen better than the older generation? For me in golf for example blokes like Jack Nicklaus will always be considered better than Tiger Woods since he wasn't using clubs and balls that are in the same league as today's equipment and pulled off shots and scores that defy belief. Even with football the balls during George Best era don't compare with the lightweight ones they use today and I just think that if that generation of greats had what we have today there would be any doubt about it. Only sport I can think of that's on an equal level would be boxing? What you reckon?
