Mitchel will be the difference between the bowling. Good or bad. Not a bad batting line up. Feel as though Lee is a bit past his best.

atleast lee is still 10 times better than hilfenhaus and siddle, both will go for 300 a piece in tests against a proper team

Siddle isnt that bad. But Australia now have to pick a past used by date bowler and a couple average seamers and a no name spinner. But England isnt exactly overflowing either. Unless the wickets are green I dont see 20 wkts falling on either side

I think more than wickets ,it's the pressure of ashes that will bring up a result I am hopeful

now that he is gone,it feels that hogg was really a good bowler and very under-rated

The wickets will be prepared to how england want them if england win the 1st test expect to see flat lifeless wickets after
|

siddle is quality he will be a better bowler than johnson in 2yrs time and english conditions will suit hilfenhauses outy. I wouldnt pick lee b4 either

The English batsmen seem to be looking good. Watched some highlights last night, Cook and Bopara getting centurys at will. Collingwood steady as ever. I think their top 6 is a touch underrated. All average well in to the 40s. Its actually hard to split the 2 sides in my mind.

I'm really pleased Bopara has started to show what he can really do. Would be good if he turns out to be a reliable number 3.

I think Bopara will be. I like his temperment. Not too slow but dosnt go out swinging.
