rite im gona clock the blk multi to 166 for a start, leave the core multi at 20, turn off auto oc. set the mem multi to 10 so it sets my mem to 1600, so i should get 3.2ghz. now th tricky bit what volts do i need or should i just leave it on atuo boot the rig and see what cpu-z gives me and set it at that. im pretty sure the board is overly generous with the volts so im looking for minimum needed |

yes i know 3.2 isnt a big oc but i want a clean oc not balls to the wall oc. and the next 1 up will be 4.0 (going of the mem multi x8 x blk 200 ) so 3.2 is fine and a good start point for now.

you could try geting the voltage from auto then working backwards to find the minimum required for your overclock seeing as your not going for a massive oc first. tbh forget spartan/byrons help the hobo shud be along soon to tell you how to oc a quad

@2.833 the volts are on auto and read 1.152v but thats on the 21 core multi thats whi i thaught i may need higher volts mayb1 1.180, but il give yours a go. i did have a small problem though, i set the volts to 1.100 and it booted i turned off left it for half an hour and it wouldnt boot up. i think i have to take into account residual current.
