i need a standalone program that allows me to set at least brigtness contrast gamma and saturation of anything i see on screen.i ve tried gamma panel but it doesnt work for fullscreen games as it just uses color profiles.so any idea what i could use and that its free? |

Use the nvidia control panel. But this time do it by profile. Choose the games name in the profile list. Then edit it individualy.

Have you checked the website of the manufacturer of your moniter ? Or the disk that came with your moniter ?

my monitor is a very old crt and no disk came with it as i bought it used not new besides even if i had a disk it would probably contain a driver i dont need and instructions that i m well aware of.there are controls on my display for brightness and contrast but they dont do the job well as the contrast is allways the best at 100 percent and all grays are visible only when brightness is set to

to that level that full black becomes gray.so what i need is to setup the display controls to have the full gray specter visible,the point where black turns to gray and than use the software to adjust brightness contrast gamma and saturation on a better way that gives better results so that gray is black again with minimal details loss and optimized gamma.and it should work in fullscreen the same

Have you tried your monitor or are you just that dam lazy to go click click on it instead of mouse. Unless your christopher reeve foundation case then ignore everything i said
