@Pw I don't know bout others but a av is a trail and error product. You got to test them and see which one feels right for you. Almost like with cars everyone got their one preference. All of them are about the same in stopping malware you just need to aid it by making sure if one gets thru it don't do damage simple

have you actualy heard of uac? even when you run an admin account on win7 or vista you cant actualy make any system harming changes without the uac popping up.

Uac is just a simple registry entry. A right click on the mouse basically. So its easy for malware to elevate themselves with it IF YOUR RUNNING FROM A ADMIN ACOUNT. ON A LIMITED USERS ACOUNT THAT CAN'T BE DONE BECAUSE A LIMITED USER HAVE LIMITED ACCESS. ASWELL DISABLING A AV OR REGEDIT OR TASKMANAGER HAVE NOTHING TO DO WITH UAC. BECAUSE IF YOU TYPE REGEDIT IN RUN WHAT HAPPENS. LIMITED USERS DON'T GET ASKED JUST STRAIGHT ACCESS DENIED.
