my samsung sgh z140v is phone freeze.i have a data cable for it. samsung gave me a link to download NEW PC STUDIO to upload software to it but i cant enter the name of the device there . how else can i transfer the files ? if i unlock it first will i lose the files ? |

Unlocking a phone doesn't do anything to the files, but they do always recommend backing up the data.
