The download speed depends on the speed of your internet connection and the server/site on which you are downloading the file from, it has nothing to do with the kind of download manager you use. Personally, i prefer orbit, not for the speed but because it's very free, no need of buying a license.

You can't compare bitcomet with idm,bitcomet is not a download manager.

I say IDM. when its full that is. any anyone that uses it just knows how fast they block fly by night serials. But its a battle that someone must fight. Used to use orbit but it kinda irritated me somehow. there is FDM too which worked when it want to. IDM is the best one for me esp with embedded videos on random sites including youtube vids.
