All right. I got an i3 3220, 8GB DDR3, 1.5TB HDD on SATA 3, 1080P LED, GTX550 Ti so now I realised that the 550Ti is slightly underpowered. I already have so what I was thinking is to buy another 1 and SLi it. How will the performance be? Maybe compared to GTX 560? I can't buy a 560 coz than I spent money on my 550 for nothing. |

U won't gain much over a 560,1 good single card will beat 2 underpowered cards,u will draw more power and get less results buy trying to match what a good single card can do,save up for a 660 ti or 670

get a 660 and use the 550 as a dedicated physix card or sell it.

Always go single card if possible. Only go SLI if you have high end stuff. Speaking from someone who has has run many multi card systems. Either sell the 550 and get most of your cash back or use it as a Physx processor.

I didn't think of the dedicated PhysX Processor. I think I'll get a 560 than and use the 550Ti as a PhysX processor. I hope that will work for me. I am buying an i5 3570K processor too.

You would be better off getting a 660 or something if you prefer Nvidia and selling up. TBH bog standard 660 is way faster than 560ti

I prefer sli, but not on 550ti, I had 460 sli, then went to a 660ti, the 460 sli is a bit faster, but has less video mem so can't max bf3 on 460 sli, but can max it with the 660ti, I would sell the 550ti and get a 7870/7850/660/660ti
