An optical drive will cost 20 pounds if you want one. I hardly ever use mine but there are a few occassions where you might need one.

Keyboard and mouse depends on how much you want to spend. If you're using them for gaming then you should spend at least about 60 pounds for decent devices

You can cut the costs a lot on what I have mentioned, but it depends on if you want really good components or if you are willing to compromise a bit. I know it costs a lot but the better stuff is, well, better.

nice advice lads, id like to play things like the witcher with decent settings with no lag ect, theris some games i cant think off the top of my head that look amazing.. id like a pc that can play any modern game no problem

the witcher 2 was well cheap like 2 month ago i was guna get it but realised it wouldnt play on my laptop i was well gutted, ever since then i wanteda proper pc

Well if you spend the amounts I have said then you wont have a problem playing any game that has been released so far and you SHOULD be good for at least a year into the next gen games. I wouldn't like to say how far into next gen the graphics card would hold up and I would just be guessing.

I mean games should play fine for a good few years but eventually the graphics card would need to be replaced or settings turned down.. All just guess work ofc
