hi, i wanna ask. My laptop is hp compaq cq40. The problem is, If i turn on my hp laptop, the screen is blank, with num scroll and capslock blinking once every 3 seconds, fan doesnt turn on as well.What do you think? Have u ever exp. this problem? Please help me guys. It's so frustrating. |

Is this the same on that you left outside in freezing weather? If so, the liquid crystals in your display froze and leaked out. If that stuff leaked through the keyboard... Well, everything is toast.

good news, :D apparently the fan is dead, but the laptop is fine. Today, after turning on the laptop, it still went to black screen with blinking num/ caps lock. Weirdly, the solution for this problem is to close the lid to around 30 degree. I think my laptop tried to hibernate after the fan was dead. Tomorrow,im gonna try to check it again. Now i want to sleep tight without getting stressful anymore like in the past 7 days. Wohoo!
