Hi guys am in us for holidays, n considering to purchasing a MacBook Air or Pro as I'll save money compared to uk pricing. What's stopping me is come September new models will b out but by that time il b bk in uk. Another advice what worth getting air or pro I know silly question as it's basically what I need. My needs not much jus downloading music transferring them on iPhone, but would like something that I know is up to scratch n like if someone said can u play cod on ur laptop I can turn around n say yh |

I've got macbook air my mates got macbook pro not much difference in them apart from the weight and macbook pro has disc drive the air doesn't.

My suggestion is, dont buy electronics off US if you are unsure about power. US runs on 120v and UK is 240v lol

yeah but you can get an adapter. maplins have em for 23 quid. you need to be saving more than 23 quid on it for it to be worthwhile

I say, avoid electronics that use a power transformer. Electronics with just a power cord is fine but it will be a big headache to make something work that comes with a transformer, like laptops and game consoles.
