I recently bought Nod32 to try and it has proven worth it. I was using Kaspersky 2014 antivirus but it has so many pop ups, drains alot of Ram and alot of false alarm. What do you think? Which one works for you best |

I'm sorry to state, that, I dont purchase any AV. I have used avaira for quite along time. but for the last 2 years, Avast... and A combination of avaira or avast with malwarebytes-antimalware, plus using adwcleaner once a month is enough for me.

Given the fact that most of us download games from the internet, malwarebytes and avast will go crazy, crash or delete the crack so you won't be available to play the game. Disabling the antivirus everytime is boring.

Set up excluded folders. I have a folder simply called 'Not Scanned' in my downloads folder. If I extract something I have downloaded and my AV doesn't like it (false positive), I move it to that folder and extract it there. You can then also exclude the destination folder of where the files are going.

i am currently using the ashampoo anti virus 2015 i found a free 6 month trial. It uses both the bitdefender and emisoft engine to scan out of the 4 anti virus programs i have tested in the last few months it is the only one to have picked up the superfish malware that lenovo pre loaded onto my system. I also have malware antibytes that i run every week just to make sure ashampoo didnt miss anything.
