guys i want to know can a tablet be as good as a dedicated satnav? The are lots of free satnav apps available on the playstore like here, navfree etc. I am wondering if they are as good as satnavs or do they have limitations? I want a tablet to use as a offline satnav (tablet has gps/car mount/car charger) but am i better off with dedicated satnavs like tomtom and garmin? Thanks |

just download the best rated one and use it. if you like it great, if you don't no harm done. read the reviews as well see what bugs or impresses other people about it... |

I use igo on an in car android system and it works perfectly. I'm not saying it's the best available but it's more than good enough and simple for anything I might need.
