Soo... I've been running my new RPi3 and it works superbly. I installed a heat sink on the top of the CPU as it gets much warmer than previous RPi's do.
After testing out the setup installed to an 8GB SD card I made the OS installation on a Samsung 500 GB SSD and edited the config text file to make boot switch to the SSD.
The speed of booting and launching apps becomes even quicker.
Then I proceeded to install all the software I've been using and testing on previous RPi's.

It's anything you want it to do. You can use it as a full desktop computer running word, excel, PowerPoint or play games on it, use for programming, video and photo editing. Make it into a phone or tablet or you can use it in things like a radio controlled quadracopter or a robot or a handheld device such as a GPS map display or in car satnav. It could be the controller for your 3D printer or your home security system or your media Center much like iTunes but better. The uses are endless.
