my mate has been looking at this drive but I dont know much about Seagate myself, other than their failure rate seems to be higher than WD? although all he's concerned about is performance but he cant afford an SSD of this capacity. the only review I found for this drive dates back to 2013 and it rates it as being a fast drive in its class. I can only assume that still applies today? considering hard drives seem to hang around for a few years before the model is updated. but any opinions please comment here
