My Asus laptop stopped charging and I got another charger for it. Once I plug it, it shows connected but the connected Amber signal led goes off in few minutes and won't come up till the charger is disconnected and reconnected after about 45minutes. What can I do please? |

are the batteries old ? lithium batteries have a life span after which they hold less and less charge. they could be unable to charge now if you've noticed them being in decline for a long time. |

Yes, your battery's probably fu*ked! They're full of microprocessors that count how many times you've charged it and what P**n you've been watching. Smash it open and rip the cells apart and use them in your torch, etc.

crystals grow inside the battery over time and reduce their capacity. a new battery might be possible but you should get it confirmed somehow first. that said, if that was the problem there'd be no issue just using it while it's plugged in. |
