i'm actually considering buying windows 11 pro. there are 3 versions; Download, DVD and USB. I have access to two machines that have W11 very recently installed. (+ a linux mint workstation) i myself have W 10 laptop. So i can study/learn W11 before making any decisions.

w11 sucks even more than 10. Silent background blocking of even more things claimed to be a threat. Cant even conveniently download things without jumping thru hoops. Have a windows 98, xp, 7 and 10 pc on the side to have less headace running certain things. All the modern tablet crap layers should be stripped away along all the bloat.

Lubuntu isn't as straightforward as i expected, might go for linux mint MATE version as an old fan of GNOME 2. or just Xubuntu... hmmm... choices, choices
