The Child Pose ( Bala-asana) Instruction:1 .Sit on your knees with yourfeet together and sresting on your heels.Separate your knees about thewidth of your hips. Place yourhands on your thighs, palmsdown. (This is the vajra-asanaor Thunderbolt Pose).2 .Inhale deeply, then exhale asyou bring your chest betweenyour knees while swingingyour arms forward.3 .Rest your forehead on thefloor, if possible, and thenbring your arms around toyour sides until the hands onresting on either side of yourfeet, palms up.4 .Breath gently through yournostrils as you hold theposture. Hold for about one totwo minutes. Then return toasn upright kneeling positionwith your back straight andyour hands on your thighs.5 .Repeat the posture at leastone more time.
