And we have known and believed the love that GOD has for us. God is love, and he who abides in love abides in GOD, and GOD in him(1john4:16) The very essence of GOD is that of love, for GOD is love and everything HE does is motivated by it.

You shall love the LORD your GOD with all you heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind..you shall love your neighbor as yourself. (Matt22:35-40) The law of GOD teaches us how to love GOD and each other. The things we do or say to each other should be what you would like said and done to you.

For GOD so loved the world that HE gave His only SON,that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For GOD did not send His SON into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved (john3:16-17) It is out of love that CHRIST went to the cross. Lets remember also that GOD loves the sinner but hates the sin.
