Its important to note that in this verses Saul was consulting a medium. We cannot see dead people's spirits, that is contractionary to Scripture. Spirits and souls doesnt dwell on the earth after death, but is immediately taken to heaven or hell. There is no place inbetween.

In the case of Saul, and the spirit of Sameul: mediums and spiritualists and witches consult with the spirit world wich is demonic. This was a familiar spirit/demon who transformed himself into the likeness of Sameul, posing as the spirit of Sameul. It was not Sameul, but a familiar spirit.

So basically any spirits that appear would in reality be a demon in disguise. And talking to or attempting to talk to a dead person opens the door to satan and his demons. As is pointed out in the scripture in Revelation.

and according to my research dis incident in Jude 9 is not recorded n any other place n Scripture. But Moses death is recorded n Deut.34. In Jude v.9...wer d angel Michael argued wd satan about Moses body Jude is quoting in an apocryphal book called The Assumption of Moses. The book demonstrated dat Moses was taken immediately into God's presence after his death. This is possible since God is d one who buried Moses.

Tank u jidat 4 d topic. We all are still learning. D instances u mentioned concerning Moses is very peculiar: it was a divine purpose. Mind u, Elija is not yet a dead man. D appearance of angels to men was very common from Gen to revelation. But d appearance of d spirits of men who are, even still alive was not common, not to mention d dead.

D Moses instance and d spirits of d saints that appeared to men after resurrection of D Lord were d only cases of d spirits of d dead appearing to men and these have a divine backing. It is possible 4 this to happen, but we must check d underline purpose. I am of d opinion that there is no reason why in d present dispensation, God will want anyone to see d spirits of d dead.

In conclusion, we must not seek to see any appearance, be it that of angels or spirits of men alive or dead, if we do, Satan can take advantage of our ignorance and appear with his demons as angels of light. Just like jewelry said that God is d God of d living and not of d dead. If it pleases God to reveal anything to us, let him do so. And if anything is revealed, check d purpose.
