The only way death could be half linked to romance is if someone were to die for/with their soulmate.

He had a stroke.. The left half of his body was completely parylised, and when he was taken to the hospital his brain started haemorraging. That wouldn't have been nice. Not everyone has a 'romantic' view on dying.
