I haven't gotten another cat since my last one died. But I usually buy fresh catnip in small quantities since the volatile chemicals in evaporate so quickly. I usually put a pinch of catnip in a toy that has a pouch for catnip, set it on the floor and prepare to giggle my b*tt off.

I drank cat nip tea last year not that nice lol my cat eats it!

I think I have read that catnip tea is supposed to be really prepared as an infusion, preferably with mint and chamomile.
