Default sizes = 3DS SD is 2GB and N3DS microSD card is 4GB

I swapped the 2GB card on original 3DS to a 16GB microSD card (with SD adapter).

Also moved the data from the old SD to the bigger card. Basically; Took out the old card, put it in the PC, copied a certain folder to the hdd, took the card out, put the new card in PC, moved the folder to the card, took the new card out and put it in the 3DS. Voila!
