What manuals are you talking about? I know if you're using SUSE Linux, it comes with a great intro to linux manual. Otherwise you could try the Linux Documentation Project, I forgot the website, just google for it.

dude, all manuals come bundled with Linux itself.. if you want more detailed tutorials, just use google.com/linux

For any downstream <command> you just type man <command>.. Distro-specific utils are listed differently such as 'portage'..
