I think that it is not unreasonable to allow the ordination of women. If the argument against this is based upon tradition being upheld then attention to the many ecumenical councils is warranted. For has tradition not undergone progressive change as an outcome of the councils convening?

I'm opposed to female ordination in the church of england. Now they are saying that we will have a female bishop by 2012. I will become a roman catholic.

difficult argument for or against. well the good side is as an ever changing and growing society a woman priest may help modernise the church and bring new members to the church the bad side its against tradition and we may loose the more stricter followers or cause contraversy.

There many options to take...the world 2de is dynamic and many other churches are changing with the world so no1 is really left out. If sum1 wud leave the church based on its lack of female priests then they have another thing coming.
