When the Jewish nation faces total annihilation, God once again intervenes through HIS mercy and ensures that Esther is in the right place at the right time. Eugenia Price sums it up beautifully, But as HE always done, GOD was working in the main stream of human nature as possible in order to keep His Plan moving... and so HE chose this woman Esther to use her influence with a king.

A crisis develops which makes of Esther a true queen. She is a willing channel and knows that the ministry of prayer and fasting can lead to victory.

During the crisis Esther does three things which each Christian woman should do, *She realises that she's in a tight spot and that she can do nothing of her own. *She doesn't think of herself only, but considers others. *She knows the power of prayer and does something about it.

Esther was very humble, unlike Vashti, the previous queen of King Xerxes (also known as King Ahasuerus) who did her own thing. The Lord honours Esther's humility and sees to it that this Jewish girl, is crowned as queen in the mighty Persian Empire.

Esther was a woman with a Kingdom perspective.

She was a wonderful example of a woman who looked through windows of opportunity to help others. When the Lord summoned her to service, she was ready to respond to the work her LORD had prepared for her. We've all been summoned into the presence of the LORD. Will we be ready.

Thats the attitude of a true daughter of the King of kings. She goes about her Fathers business.
