Do you believe the bible is self interpreting, or there is need for a witness? For example: genesis 1:2-3. ... Let there be light. What was this light? Can we believe it is different from the lights made in the fourth day, the sun, moon and stars. Can we see the scriptures in different inter-levels or simply consider them all carnal and serving a carnal purpose? Have your say Pls. |

The bible is a very an*lytical book. It is not written in such a way as to encourage subjective an*lysis or philosophical reasoning.(2Peter1:20) It is written like an engineering book, wherein truth is presented as absolute fact. The bible is its own dictionary and commentary. Each and every word, sentence, concept, etc is to be understood by examining the use of that same word or concept as it is found elsewhere in the bible. No conclusion regarding any doctrine of the bible should be accepted until it has been carefully checked throughout the whole bible to verify that it altogether harmonizes with any and every other truth of the bible.Anyone who cames to it with a preconceived idea, may not ever came to any truth unless he does so with an open heart and a clear conscious.
