Love is in you. If you dont experience love, its nobodys fault but yours. Joy is in you. If you dont experience any joy, its nobodys fault but yours. Peace is in you. If youre not experiencing peace, the problem is not other people but you. The major problem has been the one of trying to recieve from people what only God can give. You see, you were never meant to get love from another human being wether saved or not saved. Your joy was never meant to be derived from how your fellow human beings (wether saved or not) treat you. Dont missunderstand!! Im not saying that other people are not capable of showing you love--the God kind of love. What Im saying is dont rely on/depend entirely on them. Why? Pressures can make people change and one day you can find them to be what you did not expect. That devastates some people, and totaly damages them becouse they expected to be loved by someone to get a sense of self worth. They so wanted people to make them happy and they ended up being hurt by the very people who were supposed to couse them joy. God has put these forces in you so that no matter how many times people change around you, you can always have a sense of self worth. You can rejoice always and in every cir tance. You can be at peace becouse of the peace that is in you.

Keep your heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life. Provebs4:23. Your heart or spirit is where these forces or issues of life reside. There are gateways to your heart or spirit: your eyes, and your ears and what comes out your mouth. You must be diligently on guard on what you allow to enter those gateways to your heart. Be careful of what you put before your eyes. You might be watching a soap opera (eg Isidingo, Generations, etc) and become personaly involved in the ficticious drama that is unfolding before your eyes. It wont be long till you start reacting to other people in the same manner that you've seen on the soap opera. For an example, you see a women being treated like rubbish by her husband and as soon as you detect a note of displeasure from your own husband, you start reacting and blowing things out of propotion without having the full facts. In your mind you remember how that women has been treated like rubbish by her husband. It wont be long until you aproach everything the way you've seen on the soap operas. On the other hand, you must be careful what you hear. What you hear can be very challenging to your spirit. Believe me, I know. What I noticed is that when you have been lazy spiritualy (not in the habit of constant prayer and the Word), bad news and negetive reports can have a major impact on these forces of life within you. You find that you are easily angered, you react carnaly. Since there will always be evil reports you should be in the habit of constant prayer and the Word. He shall not be afraid of evil tidings: his heart is fixed, trusting in the Lord. His heart is established, he shall not be afraid, until he sees his desires upon his enemies. Psalms112:9. The other thing to do is to part ways with any whisperer or busybody who is in the habit of gossip. Get arround people who minister faith, talk faith, walk according to faith. Some people seem to think there is no big deal in what you hear and what you see.
