I cant get my Linux installed. I have a bootable disc. It just keeps freezing. How can I format Windows and install Linux at the same time. Can I? |

Im going to try formatting Windows while in Windows. I have already deleted most of my applications and all my MP3's.

Windows does nt always allow u 2 format ur hard drive. If u can get 2 the hard drive wizard in linux it will format without errors

I think my Windows is taking too much ram. Im going to try and borrow an old Windows to boost my ram then I will try again.

What distro are you using how much ram do you have on your pc if you have little ram and you trying to install a big distro it will freeze

Ok, then that must be the problem. I have Windows XP on 128Ram. Lol... Oh well, busy loading Windows 98 to give me more Ram. Will see if it helps me. Busy with that as Im typing this.

I think I have Debian. It requires 256MB. d*mn. Installing Win 98 now. Till I can sort out my pc for Linux. What distros do you recommend for 128MB?
