If we need purification then it means we are stained or dirty in some way. What is the source or cause of this stain and how can one go about the purification process. Is it even necessary?

The stain or dirt is the sin n disobeying the Lord.one can purify himself by repenting frm the sins n b born again.n its necessary 2 do so bcz d bible says if 1 is born again he wil nt perish.
