The Witcher Enhanced Edition PC/Windows Developer: CD Projekt Publisher: Atari Releasedate: US 16.09.2008 EU 19.09.2008 AU 02.10.2008 Free update for owners of original and also a new stand alone retail version. This follows the same trend that for example the popular fast stunt racing game Trackmania did. They released a big update for free to owners of original TM united and also a new retail version for the TM united forever update. This is great for gamers. Hopefully more devs/publishers have ba11s to do this. Demo - Covers the prologue and almost the whole chapter 1. (In other words: it's a fairly big demo) Guide (obviously contains spoilers, but also very useful for checking on the available sub-quests etc. info without cheating too much) |

The Witcher Enhanced Edition v1.5 aka Director's Cut out 31.07.2009 Version 1.5 of The Witcher makes the game DRM free; it can now be played without the disc and there are five added adventures created by The Witcher community. I remember going like  at that earlier because i've been playing without discsince i updated to v1.4 (the enhanced edition) in last November. |
