Actually it was pre-alpha signup i think. The recent screens still say alpha release.

Weekly play limit is 8 hours then exp penalties kick in and after 15h exp is zero until 'fatigue' resets. also the game has had an unusual amount of typos and other weirdness in the japanese version. Not to mention the collector's pack swag appears to be 2nd rate s**t made in china. A drinking class which cannot be used for holding liquids or solids etc. |

quote: the heydays of square have long past... days where games like Chrono Trigger, FF6, FF7 were their regular releases, the company is now on its last legs working with low quality teams. what happened to making you feel like you are part of something grand? part of something that matters? Personally i thought Squares last hope was a combination of Star Ocean IV and FFXIII, but after those turned out to be meh games... i cant help but feel that they as a company are doomed to die soon. how can they expect to compete with MMOs like WoW if they do a half assed job of cobbling together a game? |

on the other hand dragon quest is pretty win. i don't personally think the whole company is dead, but they have criminally mistreated their main brands by either subjecting them to heavy experimentation (FF since FFX) or just have not kept the standards high enough. (Star Ocean 4 and maybe the only-partial remaking of SO2)
